How the library works
The quote library is downloaded by WordPress from an open-source dataset, checked for valid fields and duplicates, categorized, and then served from this website’s own domain. A small offline selection keeps the generator usable if the larger library is temporarily unavailable.
Accuracy matters
Quotation attribution is difficult. Popular phrases are often shortened, translated or assigned to the wrong person. The generator is intended for discovery and inspiration, not as a scholarly source. Important quotations should be checked against an original publication or another reliable reference.
Editorial approach
Articles should add original explanation, useful structure and source context. The goal is not to publish hundreds of interchangeable lists, but to create pages that answer a real question and help readers understand why particular words endure.
